The fitted blazer

The fitted blazer

In every closet there should be a fitted black blazer. It can be used in many different ways, dressed up and down.

I often use my blazer as a jacket in the summer for instance. Be sure to look for a fitted one that clinches a little at your waist. Especially if you have something with volume underneath, when it´s fitted it still shows off a waistline.

If you want to wear it on the more casual side you can also roll the sleeves up for a more nonchalant look, and sometimes if the collar isn’t to wide it looks really nice to turn it up, but if the collar is too wide it looks a little off.

This is one key-piece that should be allowed to cost a little more because it needs to be of good quality and the best fit.

It´s very important to really pay attention to the fit, where the seems are located and the length of the sleeves, you should be able to close it without creases occurring anywhere.

They vary some when it comes to lenght and let´s say you have a larger hip, then this is when you want to avoid having a blazer that finishes across the widest part.

So if you don´t have one, then you should head out to the shops, it´s a good investment.
