Style is not about money

I have worked for both luxury and high street and I have to say I am surprised.
My first thought was that the people buying luxury would have more style.
I was completely wrong.
And even now browsing the Internet I see a lot of pieces fit for a smaller budget.
For instance, take a look at H&M, M&S and Debenhams.
