Shoe Care
I love all my shoes and they have all been chosen carefully, but without proper shoe care they wont last and will slowly loose they´re charm.
Shoe trees are a must especially for boots so that they are kept upright when not in use all of these things can be found in either shoe stores or places like John Lewis. Shoes does best if they´re stored in boxes so that they don´t get dusty, so keep the boxes when you buy them or get new fancier ones.
There are other things that are good to invest in when it comes to shoes. As much as I love high heels, I can honestly say it´s not very comfortable after an eve out but I use insoles to aid my feet “Party Feet” by Scholl is one example.
Another must is shoe buffers and shoe cream aspecially for the authentic leather shoes, they will last for a long time if cared for in a good way.
Something I have learned through the years is that whenever I’ve gotten a pair of new shoes, I go to the shoe-repair place and have them softened up a bit making it a lot easier to get them worn in. But for the best result they have to be leather synthetic shoes don´t soften up enough.
And another thing you should do is to go to the shoe repair and have the heels re-made, they are usually very soft and will be worn down really fast and not only does it look terrible, it hurts the shoe.
