Autumn

Now with the hot and lovely summer behind us, it´s time to go shopping for some warmer outfits for the beautiful and colourful autumn.

I have seen a lot of colour in the autumn collections, bright reds, burgondy, yellows and greens, and a lot of brown on accessories.

As tempting as it might feel to get that bright red coat, you´ll benefit from having a classic cut and colour, but let´s say you have a very strong budget, well then go for it. The classic cut coat will last you a long time if you care for it correctly.

I like to add colour by using accessories such as scarves, gloves or beanies and then stick with a pretty clean cut look otherwise.

The length and fit of the coats are essential you want them to bring out your shape in the best way possible, a longer coat should end just below or above the knee for the most flattering look. If you´re a very tall woman, you can carry coats that end by the ankle. But if your shorter this will make you look even more so.

If you go for a shorter jacket instead, try looking for one that is fitted and that ends just above your hip or just under your bum for the most flattering look.

Embrace the autumn with some colourful touches.
